Cllr Paul Clark Leaves Group

4th September 2025 Press Release

CLLR PAUL CLARK LEAVES CITY GROUP

Whilst it’s disappointing to lose Cllr Clark from the Independent Group of Chelmsford City Council, we wish him well, personally, with his endeavours.

His analysis of the political system falls short, as ALL the parties including Reform Inc, a corporate entity, are part of the problem, knowing everything that’s wrong but failing to provide credible solutions. Jumping onboard with the “divide to conquer” crew, and using the blaming “others” rhetoric is the wrong journey, the wrong direction and wrong for local residents.

Independents provide residents with a party-free approach ground up, not top down, to deliver better outcomes for their benefit, not parties.

Across the country Independents are giving people reasons to consider abandoning their previously held views that ‘this party’ is better than ‘that party’ and realising that somebody who lives locally, who is their neighbour, and who feels the same impact THEY do, of decisions made by their council, would be the best person to represent your views.

Independents in my view are about

–          Restoring Trust

–          Refreshing Hope

–          Removing Inaction

–          Reducing Need

–          Ridding us of Party Politics

We want to hear from you!  We are hoping to hear some of you may want an independent candidate(s) to have your voice heard.
